It is with great sadness we announce Heddy’s passing at Willowgrove LTC on April 1, 2017 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husbands John and Josef and her daughter Renate (Lothar) Boeven. Loving mother of Heinz (Brenda) Schlichting, Heiderose (George) Hooks, Norbert (Joy) Schlichting, Petra (John) Chatelaine, step-mother of Margaret Loeffler, Dorothy Loeffler, John Loeffler Jr., Judy Loeffler. Cherished Oma of David, Melissa, Michael, Christa, Brenda, Christine, Nicole, Joseph, Sigrid, Lothar, Diane, step Oma of Jennifer, Robert, Richard, Chad, Cory, Chrystal, Candice and Uhr Oma to many great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the staff at Willowgrove for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.
