Helen Mary Markowski

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the age of 82, Helen Markowski, beloved wife of the late John (1993). Cherished mother of Cathy (Julian) Kloda, and John Paul. Much loved grandmother of Brandon. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Annie Morelli, brothers Anthony, Albert, Leo, Peter, Steve, Benny, and sisters Phyllis, Margaret, Violet and Theresa. Will be missed by sister Eileen (Tony) D’Angelo and brothers, Laverne (Cathy) Morelli, and Reginald (Brenda) Morelli and many nieces and nephews and friends. Helen was the most dedicated Mom who was always prepared to give a loving hand. She will be so missed by all! A special thank you to the nurses at St. Joseph’s Homecare, their dedication outshines all. Family will receive friends at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME (322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton) on Sunday, October 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church (50 Brucedale Avenue East, Hamilton) on Monday, October 17th at 10a.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
