Born in Estonia, May 4, 1928
Our mother was an inspiring soul, always there for all who came to her with their troubles. Her home was open to everyone, and her hospitality and cooking was generous and delicious. She was a most loving, humble, compassionate and understanding woman with a great sense of humour -- one of the most beautiful souls you will ever meet. Her hobbies included flower gardening, crochet, swimming, walking daily and a thirst for learning languages (Lithuanian, German, Italian, as well as English and her native Estonian).
Helen passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 in her 94th year after a wonderful life filled with friends and family. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony, and her grandson Shane. Mom will be greatly missed by her three children, Walter (Simona), Marie and Helju, and by her remaining nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the 3 West Teams at St Peter’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers Helen requests that you remember her in your prayers.
