I'm so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the Stec family at this time. Helen was always so kind to me throughout my childhood and so welcoming when we would visit the Stec family cottage in Kaszuby. I will cherish those memories forever.

May Helen rest in peace with Jesus and her parents in heaven. She devoted herself to taking care of her family and friends. Always a hard worker, she loved to talk with stories for all occasions.  Attending mass was very important to Helen, being close to her saviour with every prayer.  
Her life was well lived and she was well loved for it.

So many fond memories of chatting with Aunt Helen over a cup of tea (with lots of milk, of course). Her countless phone calls, always filled with concern for us and the love of her life, Eugene, when he’d forget to call when he was up at the cottage. Her love for her family was endless. She was a woman of unwavering faith who taught us so much, not only about our religion but also about how genuine and kind she was. We were truly privileged to have her friendship, love, and care. And we can’t forget her pierogies—they were out of this world! It’s been 18 years since we first tasted them, but we can still remember how incredible they were… nothing like them.

Aunt Helen you were more than a friend—you were family. We know that when you left this world, the gates of heaven opened wide and you were welcomed into God’s care, joined by the choirs of angels who surely recruited their newest member.

Rest in Peace beautiful lady.
