VISSERS, Huiberdina Peacefully, at Shalom Manor, at the blessed age of 106 and four months, the Lord took home, in His time, Huiberdina Vissers. Dear wife of the late Jan A. Vissers (1994). Beloved mother of Ben and Anne, Han and Willy, Herb and Martha, Bill and Barb, John and Joan, Diane and Garry (Postma); predeceased by Martin (1990). A dear grand and great-grandmother to twenty grandchildren (Arlene Brokking, 2008) and forty-two great-grand-children. As children, we remember her as a faithful, praying mother. We thank God for her long life and dedication to her family. Friends may call at the Upper James Chapel of Cresmount Funeral Home, 1020 Upper James St. on Monday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday morning there will be a private family interment service, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Maranatha Free Reformed Church, 1114 Old Mohawk Rd. in Ancaster. Special thanks to the staff at Shalom Manor for all of their loving care. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, My God; in Him I will trust."
