Ian Sylvester Warner

He leaves behind his daughter, Marie Warner of London, England and his son, Michael Warner of Hamilton, Ontario. Ian was born and raised in St. Philip, Barbados and moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1970.

Ian is predeceased by his mother, Iva Warner and survived by his father, Leon Warner; his sister, Annette Weekes (Trenton) of St. Philip, Barbados; his sister, (Ruth) Fiona Devonish (Michael) of Cambridge, Ontario; his brother Allan Warner (Maria) of Regina, Saskatchewan and his former wife, Jacqueline Warner of Hamilton, Ontario.

Ian’s humour, inquisitive nature and adventurous spirit helped shape the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and we will forever carry his memory in the stories we share.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 12th at 11:00 am at Cresmount Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
