It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Irene Lyons at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in England she immigrated to Canada in 1950. Predeceased by her husband Sean (1993) and brother Jack (Mary). Irene will be deeply missed by her children David (Robin), Colin (Dianne) and Sandra (Mark). Cherished NaNa to Meaghan, Alana, Brendan and Malcolm. Irene was a quiet, elegant woman devoted to raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Thank you to the doctors and staff at St. Joseph's, Dr. D Zizzo, Dr. Patterson and CCAC for their care and support. A visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, November 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family service and burial at Resurrection Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
