Isabel Elsie Devay

passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Heritage Green Nursing Home in her 97th year. Her faithful friend Jean Webb was at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband John. Dearest mother of Dianne (Cas) and Elsie (Mike). Precious grandmother of Kim (Tony), Vanessa, and Mark (Jenny). Great-grandmother of Lindsay (Steve), Justin, and Wolfe. Isabel was delighted to become a great-great grandmother when Madison and Caleb blessed our lives. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Don (Hilda), Jim (Mildred), and Albert (Alma). Thank-you to the 2nd Floor caregivers at Heritage Green Nursing Home for their special attentiveness. As one who faithfully prayed for others, Isabel seemed to have a “direct-line” to God. Friends will be received at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton on Friday, May 13, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations to the McMaster Children’s Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
