With his family by his side, Ivan passed away at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday April 18th, 2015 at the age of 73. Beloved husband and soul mate to Anne for nearly 49 years. Dedicated son to Ana and predeceased by his father Mijo Pahanich. Beloved father of Robert and his wife Kristina(Islic). Kept forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Nathan, Evan and Ava. He will be missed by his brother & sister in law Branko and Katica and their children and their families. Ivan was a treasured friend to many and was loved deeply by his lifelong friends Juraj and Katica Zeleznak, their daughters and their spouses, and their grandson Zachary. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church , 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
