Ivan Pavletic

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ivan on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in his 72nd year. He will be missed by his wife and best friend Marica Buturajac-Pavletic, son Darko, daughter Sanja, stepdaughter Jasna and her children Monika and Ljenko, stepson Josip Buturajac and family, sister Katica (Drago) Kovac, brothers Jure and Stjepan. Ivan is predeceased by his sister Dragica and brothers Branko and Nikola. Cherished uncle to his nephews Robert (Rose) and children Natalie and Nicholas, John Kovac, Ivica (Debbie) Bago and children, Velja (Dragana) and children, Perica Bago and Svetan Bago and nieces Angie, Lily and Anita Mitar. Ivan will be deeply missed by kumovi Jure and Mila Sego and their family, as well as many friends and family from Croatia and Canada. Family and friends are welcome to Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, for visitation on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:15 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
