Iwona Jazwiec

Loving and cherished mother “mamusia” of Justyna, and Julie Klaric (Nick). She was predeceased by her parents. Iwona was a loving sister, sister-in-law, niece, aunt and friend to many in Canada, Poland, United States, and abroad, by whom she will be deeply missed. Iwona was a pillar of love, devotion, strength and perseverance. She dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Polish Roman Catholic Church for many years where she will be warmly remembered by the church community. The family wishes to express their gratitude to family and friends near and far for their messages of love and support. A special thank you to nurses Tricia and Catherine, Hani, and the team at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and compassion.

Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 4-8 pm. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Polish Roman Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann Street on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it was Iwona’s wish that donations be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton. If inclined to send flowers, please no Lilies due to allergies.
