It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Hyatt). Loving father of Debbie (Erwin) and Butch (Kelly). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Ryan (Megan), Mark (Jestina), and Michael. Survived by his sister Beverley (Jim), brother in law Bill (Betty), Marvin and his late wife Edith, Joanne and Willa. Special uncle to several nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Chuck and Dianne Hamilton. Jack was a retired employee of Dofasco after many years of dedicated service and was a member of both Hill Crest and Hugh Murray Lodges. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of F5 and F3 at Juravinski Hospital for the care and compassion shown to us at this difficult time, a special thank you to our social worker Joy. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 20th from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 163, 435 Limeridge Rd.
