Now with his much-missed wife, Carole (2013) and their only son Kenneth (1981). He leaves behind his beloved truck and his 2 daughters, Dawn (Charlie Gezink) Black and Nancy (Peter) Christie. He is survived by his 7 grandchildren; Zachary and Liam Black; Drew, Erin, Lisa, Grace and Megan Christie; his 2 sisters Arlene (David) Pettersen, Susan VanderRyd; and joins sister Muriel Fredson (2000). JIM enjoyed 29 years of retirement from his position of Chief Public Health Inspector at the City of Hamilton. JIM & CAROLE are survived by many, many friends and relatives. A Celebration of life for JIM & CAROLE will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West St. (aka Reg. Rd 20) Smithville, ON. Cremation has taken place and a private interment is planned for a later date. Donations to McNally House Hospice or The Owl Foundation would be appreciated.
