

Passed away suddenly in Hamilton. Loving son of Bill and Winnie (nee McInally) and brother of Bill (Bridget). Dear and loving uncle to Liam and Riley. James was loved by and will be missed by all his relatives located in Scotland, Mexico, British Columbia, Ontario, Ohio and Wisconsin. Known to his friends and co-workers as Jim and his family as Jamie, James will be missed by many. James spent 21 years working for the Seafarers International Union of Canada on freighters on the Great Lakes in the engine room and retired as a second engineer. James went on to work at the Ford Oakville Assembly Complex from September 2002 until his passing. James was a very proud and active member of Unifor Local 707.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., Hamilton on Thursday, August 8th from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, August 9th at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
