Jim passed, peacefully in his sleep, on Monday, January 15, 2024, in his 86th year (Oct.29, 1938). He is now reunited with his loving wife, Helen, who predeceased him 11 years ago, in March 2013. Jim proudly leaves behind 4 children; Bruce (Brenda), Janice (David), Susan (Karl), and Heather (Chris), and 4 grand-children; Samantha, Colin, Rachel, and Hannah.
Jim was a Chartered Accountant, and spent many years crunching numbers at the City of Woodstock. A straighter arrow; you will not find, as it wasn't this way or that way, it was always 'the right way'. Jim's true passion was his love of music; from the Kaleidescopes, to the Church choirs, Jim was full of song, singing every chance he could. He loved bringing smiles to people's faces, through the music. A small private Family gathering has already taken place. All we ask; is to hug your loved ones, and the next time you find yourself singing or humming, think of Jim MacKenzie.
