James Victor Metham

Suddenly on November 29th, 2010 in his 70th year. Survived by wife of 46 years Louise Metham, and sons Steve (Linda), Todd, and Colin (Amber), sister Lorraine Chatelaine, sisters-in-law Madeline Rowe, Carol Eydt Rowe, Juanita Taylor Rowe and his nine adoring grandchildren: Jamie, Justin, Jacob, Joshua, Jared, Aidan, Danica, Parker, and Reid. Predeceased by brothers Alan and William, brother-in-law Maurice Chatelaine, and sisters-in-law Mary and Irene. Already sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Well known and loved by many throughout his active life which included coaching and supporting minor hockey, retired firefighter events, membership in the Veteran’s Service League, and in recent years as an employee of Zarky’s Fine Foods. Visitations will be held Friday December 3rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King Street East, across from Gage Park at the delta). Funeral service will be held 10am on Saturday December 4th at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church, (116 MacNab Street South). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Salvation Army.
