After a brief battle with cancer, James passed away surrounded by his family on May 22, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Bernice. Cherished father of Barbara (Gary) Brett and Gail (Tom) Summers. Dear grampa of Ashley (Jason) Todt and Eric Summers. James was an employee of Dofasco for 36 years. He was a World War 2 Veteran in the Navy. Special thank you to our dear neighbor Lucy and the VON's. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, May 28th from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
