Passed away October 5, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital, in her 90th year, after a long and courageous battle. Predeceased by her first husband Stewart Haygarth. She will be missed by her husband Norman Brimer, her children Tom (Barb) Nancy, Dave (Cathy), Ed (Denise). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tracy, Nathan, David (Nikki), Tiffany, Kyle, Courteney, Candace, and great-granddaughter Charlotte. She is also missed by her step-children Bill (Jan), Jim, John, and Joan as well as their children and grandchildren. Survived by her sister Helen Pritchard, her nieces Jody and Jane and her nephews Cameron and Daniel, and her cousin Ellen Croft. She was a strong woman, a dedicated wife, and fostered many children over the years. She volunteered with the V.O.N. and was a faithful worker at her Ecclesia. Friends may call at the J.B. Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford) on Monday, October 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 11th at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society Canada would be appreciated by the family.
