Passed away peacefully at Grace Villa in Hamilton, November 6, 2011, in her 99th year. Born September 3, 1913 in Jamestown, Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Lifelong resident of Hamilton, predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles T. Harley (Harley’s Furniture), sister Frances Thompson and grandson Steven Harley. Much loved mother to Charlie (Sharon), Bill (Chris) and Susan (Frank) Jambor. Beloved Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-great Grandmother and Aunt to many nieces and nephews, but Nana to all. Jean possessed the gift of truly enjoying her life and the people around her. Her greatest joys were her family, friends, animals, books and a good cup of tea. Jean’s easy way with people and her great sense of humour will be very much missed. Cremation has taken place.
