It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Janina at St. Peter’s Hospital. Loving wife of the late Stanislaw Miga (2001). Deeply loved mother of the late Mary (1983), Teresa and Stan. Cherished Babcia of Elise, Natalie and Carley Magnini, Alexandra (Lesia) and the late Katherine (Kasia) Miga (2016). Dear sister of Linda. Janina will be missed by family and friends in Canada, United States and Poland. She was a kind and gentle spirit who enjoyed gardening and cooking to the delight of her family. Janina had a beautiful sense of humour and a strong religious faith that was reflected in her wonderful personality. She will be greatly missed. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Rosary at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
