Passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019 in her 86th year. She is reunited with her husband James. Loving mother of Thomas (Beth) Andrew and Elizabeth (Stanley) Hmiel. Nanna cherished her time with her precious grandchildren and will be deeply missed by Valerie (Scott) Jeffery, Graeme Hmiel, Kevin Andrew and Heather (William) Pirjamali. Also survived by her 5 bonnie great grandchildren Hayden, Sydney, Hudson, Brooklyn Jeffery and James Pirjamali. Special thanks to her pals Nancy and Kathy who were a great comfort to her. She will be greatly missed by friends and family in Canada, Scotland and France. The family would also like to thank Season's Retirement Home for their dedication and loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honour to YWCA or a charity of your choice. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
