

On Monday December 20, 2021 she passed while surrounded by the love of her family and in the arms of her daughter Tanya. Jeanne was born in Hull, Quebec on April 22, 1951 and has lived in Hamilton, Ontario since 1986. Her lifetime was dedicated to ensuring her children had the best life she could possibly give them, despite the many challenges put in her way. Her spirit and inner strength touched and inspired everyone who knew her. She was the very definition of unconditional love. She will be forever cherished in our hearts.
Pre-deceased by her sister Lise Petrin Chenier and brother Berchman Petrin. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years James Donald Craig, her brother Arsene Petrin (Chantal), her four children Tanya, Shawn (Lori), Jayson and Jamie and eight beautiful grandchildren, as well as her grand-doggy Merkules, all of whom she loved deeply. In addition to family, Dover is a beloved member of the household that Jeanne loved like one of her own and was forever grateful for him. He is a godsend.
Visitation will take place at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, December 29th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 E. 37th St., on Thursday, December 30th at 11am with cremation to follow. Interment will be held on Jeanne’s birth date on April 22, 2022 at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Details will be communicated at a later date.
Starting on August 2, 2022 (Jeanne and James wedding anniversary) the family will be hosting an open house week long Celebration of Life at their home. All family and friends are welcome.
