

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jenette Castelli, announces her sudden and unexpected passing on Sunday October 6, 2013, in her 56th year. Predeceased by her parents Raffaele and Elisabetta Castelli and her brothers Luigi and Larry Castelli. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Naldina (the late Rosato Toscani) Angelo (the late Claire Castelli). Dr. Mario Castelli (Ruth), Rina (Mike Berlingieri). Dear aunt of Lucy and Paul Weatherley, Domenic and Terry Toscani, Mark and Jackie Castelli, Michael and Caroline Castelli, Christine and Kevin Bolger, Amanda and Grant McKeracher, Jason and Sabrina Castelli, and her goddaughter Diana Berlingieri. Great aunt of Elizabeth and Michael Hazzard, the late Sarah Toscani and her goddaughter Nicole and Bradley David, Joel and Jesse Castelli, Samantha and Ryan Bolger, Kennedy, Troy and Rees McKeracher, Brendan and Matthew Castelli, John-Michael and Juliana Bettina Roma. Great-Great-aunt of Kristopher, Abigail and Rachael Hazzard, Madison David and she was excited to meet the new David baby due in January. She will also be sadly missed by many other relatives. She was a committed and valued friend to many.
Jenette was a generous soul, offering unconditional support and care to family and friends. She was very close to her siblings, sharing a special bond with her brother Larry whom she lived with until his passing. She was a woman with a heart of gold who touched the lives of everyone she met. If you were fortunate enough to be one of these people, you knew that she would always be there when you needed her. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and whenever she came to visit, she was never empty-handed. The mere mention of wanting or needing something sent Jenette on an always successful mission to find it for you. She was a woman of many talents and interests. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her friends and colleagues at WSIB, where she worked for many years. Visitation at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church (Parkdale and Queenston) on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:30am. Entombment Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
