Surrounded by his wife and soulmate, Christina Bukac, and the love of his family, Jeremy moved into the arms of Christ. His love and devotion to Christina was endless, and they built a richly fulfilling life together. Jeremy deeply loved his parents, Karen and Louis Hamel; his sister, Shannon Morgan (Jeff); his nephew, Aidan; and niece, Reese. Aidan and Jeremy had a special bond that extended through family to friendship, respect and love.
Throughout his life, Jeremy displayed kindness to others, a beautiful and pure spirit, honour, and integrity. He was an artistic and creative soul, a "Cat Dad" to Shadow, and pursued his passions for gardening and steering anything with wheels whenever possible. The family would like to thank the ICU Staff at St. Joseph's Hospital, especially Dr. Erick Duan, for all of their professionalism, support, compassion and determination. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph's ICU would create a meaningful legacy. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
