Jessie was born May 10, 1955 in Cornwall, Ontario. He is the son of the late Anthony James Lazore and Nancy Jacobs-Lazore. Jessie was an iron worker and when he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his animals, and playing the harmonica or the jaw harp. Jessie also loved wood working, beading and collecting antiques. As a Residential School survivor, Jessie was devoted to fighting for Native Rights. He was passionate about travelling and following the pow wow trails. In addition to his parents, Jessie is predeceased by his daughter Nova Lee Lazore and his brothers Dewey Lazore and Richard (Ricky) Lazore. He is survived by his grand-daughter Raven, brothers Philip Robert Terrence, Roger Van Lazore, his wife Georgina Lazore, Rayne Steven Lazore, sisters Kathleen Lazore-Oakes and husband Francis (Hoogie) Oakes, Caroleen Lazore and sister-in-law Jessica Lazore, as well as many nieces and nephews.
