To Helen and Jim's family
Living in BC I don't always get the up to date reports so this is very late coming. I just found out about Jim's passing and I would like to send condolences. Jim is one of those people that I hung around with in the last couple of years at CI. We were members of Alpha Omega and we had such great times in that group of guys. I remember Helen as this sweet petite girl that I used to skate with at the arena on weekends. Jim was lucky to have shared his life with you. I do have some great pics of the Alpha Omega gang which I would love to send to you. Please contact me.

It sure was sad to hear of Jim's passing.  I am so sorry for your family's loss.

When I heard the news about Jim, my heart sank - I could not believe it. I witnessed Jim falling for you in highschool - think it was Grade 10 English class - he sat in front of you and I could see in his eyes that he was smitten!!  He loved you sooo much and I hope that love will sustain you and your family for years to come.  I thank God for the gift of Jim - he was genuine, funny, an infectious bundle of positive energy that made you want to be part of his smile.  We are sadder for losing him, but so fortunate to have been touched by his humanity and goodness.

    I first met Jim when he transfered from cabin service to the ramp.Part of
the transition process required him to job shadow on a ramp crew.This
responsibility was shared between mine and Bob Blahitka s crew.
    From day one we could all tell that "Jimmy" was going to be a keeper!
His professional approach to any task, interpersonal skills and sense of
humour that became his trademarks were obvious.
   For me this was the beginning of a long list of happy memories involving
Jim, in Toronto (YYZ)  and Hamilton (YHM). ie. Jimmy was so much  fun
to work with. That "Blah" and I conned the supervisors into extending Jim s
job shadowing assignment. Long after we knew he was ready to be 
"cut loose" with his own crew!
  It was my privelege to work with Jim, my honour to continue calling him

How could anyone begin to sum up the life of Jim Anderson in words? 

He touched the lives of so many people in his short, action-packed, fun-filled 55 years. He was a man that people remembered. You meet many people in your lifetime, but few could make the impact that Jim did. 

I always valued our friendship although our paths haven't crossed since he and his son stopped in on his way to a hockey tournament in Peterborough years ago.

His smile would brighten up a room. You always knew that Jim would do anything for a friend. As I look back at those high school days and afterwards, a wide grin forms from the memories of an incredible man. 

Helen, you were a saint, and the glue that held your family together.

Everyone has a Jim Anderson story. Share them and keep the memories fresh. Do not mourn the loss of Jim for too long but cherish his time on this earth and how he made it a better place to be. 

We have lost a truly remarkable man.

Helen - We were shocked and saddened to hear of Jim's sudden passing.Jim was a character all through school and who can forget a nickname like that "Mooner", but as you once told me when we were very young, he made you laugh and made you happy, thats what love is all about.

Helen, Mathew and Brianna, and your entire extended family, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Jim. I met Jim a number of years ago through my brothers; Peter, John and Ron, as well as through Jimâ€™s late brother Chris. 
I cannot express the way Jim could light up the room he was in. He had an incredible sense of humor and an infectious way about him to go with it. I enjoyed numerous games on the touch football field with him. I have enclosed a photo, (Iâ€™m not sure if you have this) and a newspaper article from way back. I will send a copy to the funeral home in hopes they will get it to you.
I wish I could say something to take the sorrow and pain away from you and your family. But, please always remember that â€œMoonerâ€ was loved by so many people here in Niagara Falls and while he is no longer in our sight, we celebrate the memory of his life in our hearts. I pray that God will grant you strength and peace.

Although our paths have not crossed in many years, the news of Jim's passing has shaken and saddened me down to my very soul.
Jim and I go all the way back to Christ Church and wolf cubs: both members of tawny six. Dyb dyb dyb dob dob dob, Akelah! Helen, Jim was a truly wonderful man and I am very happy that you got to share all these years together. What a remarkable couple you are.
Reading all the postings from old Niagara friends has brought the memories flooding back and made me realize how lucky I am to have known a man like Jim.

Jim was one of the nicest guy. I worked with him and he was a great college to work with. I asked "Jim how are you doing?" He always replied, "Everything is fine." I met Jim 25 years ago and we were instant friends. The number of people he helped over those years through his work with the Employee Assistance Program,or just by being a friend is countless.
