completed the tasks that the Lord gave me and done them well, I will be resting in one of His heavenly mansions. I leave my beloved family; son Robert, daughter Judith (Ed) and daughter Elizabeth (Ted). I also leave my beloved grandchildren Christopher (Colin), Andrea, Maxwell and Olivia, my nieces, nephews and their families. I am predeceased by my loving husband James Gray, his Mother Christina, Father Roger, their daughter Christina, brother-in-law Reginald Denton and my niece Jean Ingelhart. My Mother and Father, Helen and James Buist were pioneers of the Homeside district, east of Kenilworth. They were known as Maw Buist and Jimmy Buist, the blacksmith. My siblings Elizabeth Weir (David), Norman Buist (Lylie) and I lived a wonderful life there. My life was enriched by so many people. Love and thanks to Dr. Mary Purdy, Irene Dvali, Sister Madeline Graf, Dr. W. Awery and his wife Marian and staff, Rev. Stephen Lindsay and the congregation of Cheyne church, Mary Tisdale and all the Pretsell family, Shirley Tate, the Library bus girls for 50 plus years of love and service, St. Joseph’s Community Health Center family of volunteers and clients as well as Barbara Cowan and the Circle of Friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare, The War Amps, The Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
