McKINNEY, John Anthony "Grampy " With family by his side, passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the age of 78. Devoted husband of Joan for 55 years. Loving Dad of Nancy Pollard (Al), Wayne (Jennifer), Kevin (Sherry-Lee) and Stephen (Jackie). Cherished grampy to 18 grand-children. Will be fondly remembered by his sisters, Jenny and Theresa, and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the hard work and dedication of all the staff at the General Hospital. Visitation will be at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, December 5 2012 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
