He leaves behind his niece Patricia (Bill) Barker, and nephew John (Maria) Scott, and their families in England. He will also be missed by his friend and neighbour, John Mercer. Bill was predeceased by his sister Margery Scott.
Bill emigrated to Canada from England following WWII and settled in Hamilton. He worked for Stelco for over 30 years before his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Downtown Hamilton YMCA, of St. John’s Lodge #40 Hamilton, and a member of the Scottish Rite.

A Funeral Service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton on Thursday, September 1st at 11am. Cremation to follow.
