It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Edward Sullivan, in his 85th year.

After 59 years of marriage, John will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend, Margaret (nee Kelly). John was the loving father of Kevin, Lisa (John) Hishmeh and Kelly (Vic) Sullivan. He was the dear Grandfather of John Tyler, Justin and Zachary and the best human friend to Rosie. Thank you to Susie for always being there for our family. A special thank you to the VON of Hamilton, the HNHB LHIN, the Healthcare Team of CTU West at St. Joseph’s Hospital and to all of our family and friends for the love and support you have provided. His smile and jokes will be missed…We were lucky to have been able to call him OURS...

I will treasure the last two visits we shared. You gave me the best hug. Still called me dear and always made me laugh. You didn't know it, but you taught me how to drive when on the highway. Sat behind you on the way to New Brunswick and watched your every move. You were a pro!
Dear Aunt Marg, Kevin, Lisa, Kelly and family, with deepest sympathy

When I met John it was like I felt a connection and as time went on we became close friends
We went on many trips to New Brunswick and are journeys were full of wonder and joy
I remember on one trip through USA we got confused and were traveling trying to find our way and John said the farmers around here must be rich they all have a huge tractor on top of a hill
We were going in a circular direction
He had a great disposition and sense of humour
Need l say more or just say I loved him
