

FORREST, Joyce Peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on March 16, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Jack (John), twin sister Jean Carson, brother Richard Couch, father Matt Dunn (Jean) and mother Mildred. She will be sadly missed by her sons Brian (Wendy), John (Patti) and daughter Alison (Rick), her ten grandchildren and six great-grand-children and niece Del. A special thanks to her lifelong friends, Bob and Dee Banting for their support over the years. Joyce was born in Norton-on-Tees, County Durham, England. She was on the professional stage in England and entertained the troops with E.N.S.A. Joyce retired from Westinghouse however, continued to work for the Board of Education and volunteered with the Cancer Society (CAPS) and 447 Wing in Mt. Hope for 17 years. Her family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel followed by a reception at the 447 Club, 3210 Homestead Dr., Mount Hope.
