Judy Ann Greer Barrett

Judy passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on November 5th, 2025 following a short health battle.

Judy was predeceased by her husband Peter Strayhorn Sr. back in November of 1992, which was one of her greatest losses. She was also predeceased by her eldest son Peter Strayhorn Jr., who passed away in October of 2024 in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Survived by her only daughter Jessica Tutt (Strayhorn) and her husband Jason, and three grandchildren Ava Tutt, Adalynn Tutt and Alexis Strayhorn. Also survived by her siblings Frank, Elizabeth, Shelley, George, and Johnny.

Judy was quick witted and full of spice, never failing to keep us on our toes. She now is no longer in pain, and gets to spend the rest of her journey with Dad and Petey.

There will be a small service held at the Good Shepherd in Hamilton, where she spent the last six years. A small family gathering in New Brunswick will take place at a later date, details to be determined.
