Judy Phyllis Hogan

1947-2011 It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Judy, January 29, 2011, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Predeceased by her parents Jim Hogan and Mickey and Duke Wilson. Loving mother of Tim (Natalie), Jenny (Lonnie), Rick (Angie) and Rob (Colleen). Cherished Nan of Paige and Joel, Willy and Ronnie, Chantel and Nathan, Tyneesha and Mitchell and Katie, Nick and Molly. Beloved sister of Jackie, Leona (John) and Teresa. Judy will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. We will all miss her crazy sense of humour (which she kept throughout her illness) and her zany antics. Judy had a heart of gold, so in her honour perform an act of kindness and “pay it forward”. Thanks to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital C3, especially Dr. Lilliana, Dr. Russell and Nurses Kathleen, Diane and Amy. Judy has asked that any donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Judy’s wish was for a private family funeral service. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at the RHLI, 1353 Barton Street East at Kenilworth Avenue North on Saturday, February 5th, from 1 - 4 p.m. Come with me God saw her getting tired and the cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, “Come with Me”. With tearful hearts we watched her fade away, although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart has stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
