It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katarina Bosiljevac (nee Novosel) on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 83rd year. Loving mother of Mira Bolibruch (Branko). Beloved Baka of Natasha Grubisic (Jerko) and Nicole Bolibruch. Loving Stara Baka of Katarina, Angelina & Karolina Grubisic. Dear sister of Ana Bosiljevac and loving aunt of Danny Bosiljevac. Katarina will be missed by many relatives, Kumovi and friends in Canada, Croatia and Germany. Sincere thanks to Dr. Hirte and his staff at Juravinski Cancer Clinic for their wonderful care. Much appreciation to St. Peter’s Hospital for their exceptional care and support, especially nurses Peter & Virginia. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Vigil Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
