Katherine "Kay" Irene Robertson

Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Tom (2017) and her daughter Janet (1963). Cherished mother of Sue Moore (late Terry) of Komoka, John (Kim) of Hamilton, Doug and Brian of Ardock. Loving grandma of Kayla, Brent (Tanna), Dan (Robyn), Brianne (Arthur) and Emily. Proud GG of Sophia, Nixon, Quinlynn, Rome and Paige. Dear sister of Marj Mitchell and sister-in-law of Lillian Skerratt. Predeceased by her 3 siblings, Dorothy, Barb and Johnny. Kay was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. Upon graduation from SCITS she headed to Hamilton in 1948 to become a nurse. Kay graduated as a Register Nurse in 1951 from Hamilton General Hospital Training School. She worked at the General until 1959. Kay was a member of Olivet United Church until its closing and she was an active member of TOPS ON 40 for over 50 years. The family would like to express special thanks to dear friends Erna Hall, May Lane and Bill Arnold for their help and support of our mother. Private Graveside Service has taken place. Celebration of Life Service will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. Hamilton on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11am. Donations in Kay’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
