PERIC, Katica (nee Gelo) – It is with sadness the family of Kata announce her sudden passing at home on January 22, 2015 at the age of 73. Reunited with her cherished husband of 50 years Bozo (2013). Cherished mother of Mirjana LeBlanc (Joe), Zdenka Peric and Vesna Artukovic (Zvonimir). Loving Baka of Nicole, Lucas, Mario, Katrina, Matthew, Natalia, Daniel and MacKenzie. Kata leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Croatia. Kata will be missed by everyone whom she met for her kind, genuine, gentle and loving soul. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth Ave.) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service Monday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
