

Peacefully passed away in the arms of the Lord at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 to join his loving family. Beloved husband for 44 years to Giedre (Judith) (nee Mitalas). Predeceased by his loving son Kazimieras (Charles) (2000). Loving father to his daughter Vida. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces Anne, Anele, Ona (Tadas), Irene (Robert), Rasa, nephews Tom (Kristina), Peter, Rimas, Leonardas, Vincentas, brother-in-law Romas (Nancy) sister-in-law Adele, Dalia and their families. Predeceased by his parents Ursula and Kazimieras, brothers Jeronimas, Albinas, sister Terese (Juozas), niece Birute (Ruta), brother-in-law Algirdas and sister-in-law Jura. Charles worked at Stelco for 35 years where he was a cost accountant. He was very active in the Hamilton Lithuanian Community and a long-time member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. He followed his religious beliefs where life was a blessing and he found peace. Thank you to Father Paul Rudinskas for his many visits while Kazys was in hospital in which he gave him many blessings. Visitation at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East, Hamitlon (east of Sanford Ave.) (905-528-6303) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with rosary prayers at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Church, 58 Dundurn Street North, Hamilton, on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. Interment St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. For those who wish Mass offering in memory of Charles or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
