Dear Kia was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by her parents: Steve Huurman and Britta Breivik; Joie and Lee Davis; as well as her siblings: Reda Huurman, Kaitlyn and Tyler Woo-Davis. Kia will be forever cradled in the hearts of her treasured grandparents: Dan and Cindy Grasley; Gaetane Davis, Lizzi Breivik, Henk Huurman, and welcomed to heaven by her cherished Oma, Cristine Huurman. Sharing our grief are her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Kia will be remembered for her warm heart and her quick wit. She was a whiz at math and enjoyed reading, music and art. Whether with loved ones or her many pets, Kia loved to cuddle. We know that her dear cat Bailey and her dog Maggie are snuggling with her now in heaven. With her closest people, Kia was a bright light who will never be forgotten. She was hilariously funny, quick to give a compliment, and her curiosity and can-do attitude were contagious.
Kia passed tragically after many years battling with mental health, and so the family asks that, in her memory, please consider making a donation to Community Addiction Services of Niagara (CASON) or the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life with take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, June 25th at 1pm.
Our beautiful girl, you left this world too soon, but you are forever in our thoughts and hearts.
