Kristina Kuzmic

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Josef Kuzmic. Kristina leaves behind her devoted daughter, Vera, and her cherished grandchildren: Billy (Trista), Ricky (Erin), Lisa (Amaris), and Laura (Andrew). She was a loving great-grandmother to Wilson, Lily, and Romy.

To her family, she was lovingly known as Baka. Kristina was deeply proud of her Slovenian roots and spent many happy years at Bled, filled with dancing and laughter. She was also proud to call downtown Hamilton home.

Kristina also leaves behind beloved family in Slovenia, including her brother, Franc.

She was known for her fun-loving sense of humour, Baka kept her strong will and spark right until the very end. She will be deeply missed.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Regina Gardens for the compassion and care shown to Kristina during her final years.

The family will receive friends at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Vigil Prayers 2 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church (Delawana at Hwy 20) on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 10 am. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery on Mud St. to follow.
