Left to mourn his loss are his wife of 62 years, his daughter Rasa (Tom), his son Stasys (Janet), many grandchildren, a handful of close friends, and extended family in Lithuania and abroad. Predeceased by his parents Stasys and Ona Baksys and his brother Gendrutis.
Many thanks to the home and palliative care team members who supported Laimutis and his wish to die with dignity at home.
Following cremation, a private family funeral will take place at a time yet to be determined. Final arrangements are being managed by Marlatt Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health (FIRH), managed through the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation, are welcomed.
