Passed away in the early morning
hours on Saturday, October 13, 2012
at Extendicare (Hamilton) in his 96th
year. Beloved husband of the late
Phyllis Buttenham (2000). Loving
father to Susan and Bill Dell and Ric
and Liz Kemp. Also remembered by
two grandchildren Mike and Dave
Kemp both of B.C. Predeceased by
his brother Russell (Gert Belshaw).
Lawrence was the brother-in-law of
Thelma Montgomery (Jack-deceased),
the late Dorothy and Walter Duncan
and the late Vernon Buttenham.
Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was a retired employee of
the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital
and a long time resident of the
Rosedale community. A very special
thank you to all the caring staff at
Extendicare. Cremation has already
taken place. Memorial visitation for
Lawrence will be held at the
MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME,
1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on
Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A
Memorial Service will take place
from the funeral home chapel on
Friday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers
