Leonard Mark Davies

Loving son of the late Evert Davies and Agnes Davies (Zarazun). Brother of Richard (Heather), Thomas (Sylvia), Gary (Laura), and Randy. Predeceased by Christine (David Bowley), Bruce, and Kevin (Marnie).

Uncle of Ritchie, Kaley, Shelby, Sarah, Josh, Andrea and Victoria. Fondly remembered by great-nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

As a young man, Leonard worked in Hamilton in light industry, then travelled west to Winnipeg to work with his uncle Adam Zarazun. Aunts, Uncles and cousins recall his time in the west fondly. Zarazun / Davies family reunions were a highlight for Len. Len joined Katimavik and used that opportunity to travel across Canada. Len was passionate about football and was an avid Ticat fan. He loved family and enjoyed introducing his friends to family. Leonard never complained and laughed often. He was gentle, kind, and sometimes silly. Most of all Len was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family wishes to extend their grateful thanks to staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital - Hamilton Health Sciences, Joseph Brant Hospital, Bethany Residence and Idlewyld Manor for their compassionate care.

Interment has taken place at Woodland Cemetery and a Celebration of Len's life will take place at a later date.
