Leonard Newton passed away peacefully June 27, 2014 in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his wife Carrie (2013), son Paul (1969) and brother Thomas. Loving father of Nancy (Ken) McKeon, Lynn (Rob) Jarvis and Karen (Mark) Daigle. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Sara, Amber and Ashley. Dear great-grandfather of Benjamin. Will be missed by special nephew Brian. Remembered by his sister Doreen Thompson. Leonard came to Hamilton from Kingston with his wife Carrie in 1954 and started his business floor contracting which he worked at until 2010. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Leonard’s life will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Thursday, July 3rd at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery. Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
