Dad is reunited with his soulmate, the love of his life, Margaret (2009). We now have two bright stars shining in the sky watching over their family. Dearly loved father of Gail and Joe Gebel and Larry and Pat Sims. Proud "Grandpa" of Steven Gebel (Kathy), Mark Gebel (Rachelle), Shari Allen (Jamie), Krista Aquino (Jack) and Kelly Paventi (John). Very proud "Gramps" to twelve great- grandchildren. Loving brother to Linda (Doug) Kalbfleisch and brother- in-law Elmer Lee. Predeceased by his parents Leonard Sr. and Marjorie, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Julia and Murray Hill, Eileen and Fred Hutchings and Vern Lund, Patricia and Ed McPhail, Jack Lee and great-granddaughter Elizabeth. Leonard will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Dad was always a gentleman and family was always #1 to him. Leonard was a longtime employee of Stradwick Tile and Kent Tile. He was a very active union rep and finished his employment as Past President of Local #31 Marble, Tile and Terrazzo, and Hamilton Division. Dad was very proud to be a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. The family would like to thank Fr. Charles Galea, Biddy and the staff at Emmanuel House, especially Diane, Jill, Maggie and Pat for their love and support at this most difficult time. The family will receive friends at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. Prayer service on Sunday at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Emmanuel House would be appreciated by the family. "Nothing can ever replace the wisdom, guidance and love of a Father. We love you, Dad. God Bless."
