I worked with Lou when I was a Maintenance Supervisor with Otis Elevator, in Montreal, in the early 1980's. He was a good person. He said  when I was to visit Haileybury,  Ontario, to look for his sister's class photo at Academie Ste Marie, on the wall, on the second floor. I did and there she was. May he rest in peace. Like Lou I had a career with Otis and developed a bond with all those I worked with.
I enjoyed every moment I had with Lou.

Dear Every Friend and Relative of Lou Rinaldo,

He was my grandpa, and I was as sad about his death as you are.  He meant a lot to me.  Him and I were very close, so thinking of him makes me cry.  But we should all focus on the happy memories instead of being sad.  Even though he is no longer on Earth with us, he is in heaven with God and is no longer sick.  One of my happiest memories is when he came to my house in Chicago and we went golfing.  After that we would always go to Dairy Queen.  I will always remember him and so will my cousins, my mom, my grandma, and my aunts and uncles will too.  He was a really great grandpa.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Lou; he was a great and well-respected leader to everyone that got to know him during his time with Otis. I got the fortune to work for him in Bloomington, IN, some years back now; Lou will continue to remain a very admirable man for Rochelle and me . We will keep him and the Rinaldo family in our prayers.

gerry and I  are very saddened to hear of  the death of 
Lou.  We  spent a year in Edmondton in 1971  and both of you were so helpful since we knew no-one. We enjoyed many Sunday dinners together and remember what a great sense of humour Lou had. Lou was a great person who I looked up to. I met him and Rosemary when they moved into their new house and they needed a landscaper. I got the job and every year he had me do something. He always asked questions along the way , which made me feel important. Just a great man! I'm so sorry he is gone.
