

Unexpectedly at home on June 18, 2013 in her 85th year, Lillian Ann Cochrane (Wearden) predeceased by her beloved husband Alan James (1999) whom she dearly missed. Loving mother of David (Linda), Bonnie (Paul) Hamel, Pam (Patrick) Chetcuti and Maureen (Thomas) Grice. Much loved and cherished grandmother of Leanne, Tiffany, Dennis, Michael, Jackie, Andrea, Davis, Diana, James, Melanie, and Sabrina. Beloved great grandmother of Thomas, Zachary, Madeleine, Jack, Hunter, Alex, Sienna, Isaac and Kaydence. Lovingly remembered by her sister Mercia King, her brother John Wearden, brother-in-law Donald Cochrane and sister-in-law Mae (Robert) Ward. Predeceased by her sisters Avis King and Edna Matthews. Lillian’s teaching career included, Winona Secondary School, Brantford Collegiate Institute and Pauline Johnson Collegiate. Lillian also left behind her constant companion, her dog “Chance”. Lillian will be sadly missed and was truly blessed by all her friends and family. Although we are sad to lose her, she has left to join her precious and most loved husband and best friend Alan. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Thursday, June 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Regina Mundi Parish, 631 Mohawk Rd. E., on Friday, June 21st at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Souls Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
