Lillian (Pat) Marie Case (nee Chapple)

She is predeceased by her daughter Karen and partner Frank. Loving mother of Debra Smith (Lorne, deceased), Marilyn Bourque (Fernand), Jim Case (Donna), Bruce Case (Carolyn), Al Case (Carolyn) and Wayne Gregotski (Sandy) the “other brother.” Cherished grandma of Tami Marchinko (Jason), Lisa Bourque, Robert Bourque (Katie), Alex Corke (Brandon), Samantha Leggat (Brett), Jenn Case (Josh Bollard) and Patrick Case (Tristan McDowell). Adored Granny/GG of Keira, Greyson, Liam, Lyla, Anna-Lee, Lochlan, Carter, Brooke, Tinsley, Nolan, Nash and her many grand puppies. She will be missed by her extended family and friends.

She was an amazing baker and famous for her Christmas cake and shortbread (they were closely guarded secrets). Her home and garden (of 61 years) were her pride and joy which led her to win a Trillium Award. We will miss Sunday suppers and her unique sense of humour. She was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Forever in our hearts.

Special thank you to the staff at Seasons Retirement Community for their care and support. They went above and beyond to make sure she was well looked after for the past five years. Many thanks to the PSWs from Bayshore who provided the extra support she needed.

Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, on Friday, March 13 from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Wildlife Federation and the Heart and Stroke.
