Unexpectedly at home on September 29th, 2014, Lina passed away peacefully in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Franco (2002). Loving mother to Marco (Kathy) and Claudio (Cindy). Cherished grandmother to Jason (Colleen) and Natasha Knapton (Steve) and great grandmother to Anthony, Connor, Gavin, Ilaria and Alessia. She will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends in Italy and Canada. Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from 6-9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Ave. on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
