Lorenzo Paul Ferrari

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lorenzo, surrounded by his family and friends, at the Hamilton General Hospital on May 13, 2016 in his 48th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Iole (nee Fusato) for 31 years. Cherished father of Giancarlo. Adored son of Teresa and the late Franco Ferrari. Loving brother of Rosella (John Paul Ferreira). Loved son-in-law of Maria and the late Antonio Fusato. Dear brother–in-law of Robert (Catherine) Fusato, Angelo Fusato and Joe Fusato. Special uncle of Anthony, Joshua, Alicia Ferreira, Angelina and Cassandra Fusato. He will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles and cousins in Italy and Canada, as well as many friends, including Molly and Daisy (his look looks). Lorenzo was a dedicated employee of BASF, Mississauga. Special thanks to the ICU of the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 6-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:45 pm Thursday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church (Parkdale and Queenston) on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10 am. Donations in Lorenzo’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
