Dear friend of Rita Dixon, Aija and Milans Ondrich, Sigi Witt (in Hamilton), Tamara and Gunars Ozolins (in Denmark) and her friendly neighbours from Seventh Avenue in Hamilton – Carol Pavey, Peter Miles, Herbert Buffet, Stephen and Lori Kolar, Vera and family, Frank and Sylvia Carpino, Angelo Fantauzzo, Shaylyn and many others.

Ludmila was born in Latvia. In 1950, she moved together with her sister as a refugee of WWII via Germany to Hamilton. In 1952, she got married to her husband Arturs Berzins.

Ludmila used to work for 29 years at the Henderson Hospital in Hamilton. She was a member of the Latvian community, served in Dāmu komiteja, and supported various charity organizations.

Resting at Cresmount Funeral Home, Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton for a visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. The service is available to watch through livestream, using the link on the funeral home website.
